We all appreciate and are thankful for the work you do. However recently I
think you are a little too rigid.
I can understand that some people on this list have limited email storage
space and thus like the idea of truncating replies to what is deemed
necessary. HOWEVER, there are other available options.
Truncating seams the obvious "easiest" way to address this issue but for
many it means that they only get "half" the story, as the trail is missing
in the replies and thus they only see things out of context. Unfortunately,
yahoo does not have a means to link messages so that you could follow the
trail and the only option left in this scenario is to go to the yahoo site
and dig up the old email, which was replied to. (Keeping all the original
emails on your computer would definitely consume more storage space than
just those emails with their trails!)
I get all the post on this list as individual emails and just read them and
delete them as I see fit. I do not usually store them. All of us have at
least 2MB email storage, more than enough to store the WHOLE bible. If a few
have an issue managing their available space efficiently than that should
not affect the majority on this list.
There are many great tips & tricks posted here everyday. I hate to see that
been crippled down because of these new strictly enforced rules.
Just my $0.02.
Now let's get back to the IMPORTANT challenges we all face every day:
Finding the "Holy Grail" of trading systems :-)
