Excellent it works but what ticker symbol should i 
give it when it asked for it?
Is it just the same as the file you 
download?

  britefutures as suggested and only got the message
  in Explorer " cookies not enabled- must be 
  enabled for access"  or similar
  i checked Cookies and they are enabled, then 
  thought Zonealarm may have stopped it so turned it off and tried again-- no 
  change
  I also sent them an email asking for advice but 
  didn't get an answer at all.
  have you any suggestions what may be wrong

    Save to a folder because it's a csv format and 
    needs to be converted by the Metastock Downloader to be read by 
    Metastock.
    It's a slow pain in the behind but 
    free.
