I recently purchased Metastock 8. I have created a template with various indicators located in inner windows. Since Metastock apparently does not print the name of the indicator in the window (as some other programs do)[I am running without inner window title bars to save space], I created text notes and carefully placed the text in the upper left of each inner window. Then I "Save As" the template.
But when I open the template, two things happen: first, the text is no longer in the upper left of each inner window. It is still on the left, but some entries are at the top, some in the middle, some at the bottom, etc. And second, when I try to use the Scan Charts feature [the Change Security buttons at the bottom right of the screen], the text disappears as soon as I move to the next chart. And if I scan back to the first security, the text has disappeared there to! I have the options set to Use Chart as Template, so the rest of the template is fine as I scan; it is only the text that disappears.
Any idea what these problems might be here? I sure would like to be able to identify the indicators I have in the templates!
