I have MS pro 7.0 real time.
I decide to go with a european data vendor who confirmed to me that
any sw that works with dde links will work with their system.
I do my own share of due deligence, spent 5 days downloading &
installing the data vendor sw which is a .msi file.
Spent another 10 days reinstalling ms7.0, discovering MetaServerRT2.0
and use it to install my dde links for COMPX.
Problems on March 27,2002:
MS pro7.0 will NOT launch MS AUTOmatically (meaning, I have to launch
it manually, do the symbol configuration for compx) then it will NOT
udate my compx chart in real time. I look at its Datasheet. All O
H L C shows 0.001???
I spent long hours reading through Index in F1 function key and
translate all materials named Real Time, change some time in
Downloader.
Problems on March 28, 2002:
This morning, after I start my real time data, I click MS pro7.0 and
get these following ERROR MSG:
(1) Unable to attach to DBC signal;
(2) Vendor DLL was unable to attach to data vendor
(3) Unable to initialize communication with data vendor. Equis data
server will terminate when this msg is cleared.
(4) Equis data server refused the attachment;
(5) Equis data server unable to launch server configuration appl.
Then when I start to start MSRT2.0 manually, even this fails. Symbol
Configuration no way will give me a last price and a plus sign...
HELP!
