then you have metastock pro for esignal ;) , equis 
messed up when made the cd they put the cd label (name)of pro 8 for esignal the 
cd wont ever pass the cd check since the program will look for a diferent name. 

you must contact equis to get a verification 
number

    tell me which version of metastock do you have 
    and the volume label of the cd, the volume label is the name that the cd has 
    as it appears when you usse win expolorer to see the contents of the 
    cd

      Anyone having problems?
      It won't recognize the original cd as the 
      correct one..tries different drives.. Doesn't even make the drive light 
      blink.
