would be intersted to know what you and other's think of Murphy's
Chart Recognition as well as the Adaptive Trading Soulutions. In
particular, I would like to know what specific things the plug-in
succeeds or fails at.

I have the Murphy plug-in. For me, it isn't worth the cost of shipping. It totally misses many many patterns such as, ascending/descending triangles, double tops/bottoms, etc., and those it identifies I don't agree with. You can do better through visually looking at the chart and using MS's line drawing abilities.
I also have Performance Systems Plus plug-in. It is somewhat better, but not worth $300. If you can get it for $40-$50, you might find it interesting but I don't think it really adds much to the loads of built in indicators/etc. that come standard with MS.
