[Metastockusers] MetaStock/eSignal smartchart quandary

Group members:
 
I am an experienced user of MetaStock RT, vs. 7.22, 
with eSignal as datafeed.  However, since I transfered my MetaStock 
trading system to another computer, all equities, opening 
previously in Day format across all templates, now initiate as 
Intraday Tick.  Once an equity is opened Intraday, subsequent 
templates work as usual (starting in Day format), although all equities 
"Opened with Template" are still in Intraday Tick mode.  I've 
reset my default template, smartcharts and DataOnDemand cache, etc., all to no 
avail.   The irony in all of this is that before I was 
never able to open an equity in anything other than in Day 
format.
