those formulae @guppy site and somewhere else too are a very simple
reduction of that quite complex system...
you could take "fischi for "fiaschi" that's "whistles" for "flasks" :-
) ... it's an italian turn of phrase... as to say "lose" instead
of "loose"... don't exactly know how is it (the same) in the US.
