Frankly, I have stopped using MetaStock for a long time (oops, I hope it doesn't get me kicked out), but I still read the posts with much interest because of the invaluable tips and help that traders can get online.>>
As mentioned earlier, the spammer is promoting a black box which does nothing for the edification of those interested in using TA or any other technique for trading. I don't see a problem with the presentation of trading issues and techniques that can be used with Metastock, but beyond that I think that there are many other Yahoo lists to cover trading tips, techniques, etc. Just do a search in the Yahoo groups and you will find many of them.
I have several issues with Metastock/Equis/Reuters regarding their lack of support of those who trade futures and would like to see that type of issue, and other Metastock shortcomings discussed too. But to extend the discussion beyond Metastock's realm of capabilities or lack thereof defeats the purpose of the list, and that is particularly true of a black box that cannot be replicated within Metastock unless the provider is willing to disclose to the list what it contains. Again, there are loads of other lists for traders for those types of things.
