Lars,
Metastock of any version will not run in Linux. Linux was not
designed to run Windows programs. It was designed to run programs
written in the "Unix" language. There are plenty of unix programs out
there that will run in Linux. There have been some attempts to make
a "Windows" emulation box to run in Linux, but compatability problems
abound. Also, emulation means SLOOOW. Don't expect to be happy
running any Windows programs under Linux. Most won't run at all, and
the few that do work will be slow.
Also, Equis does not support Metastock unless it is running under
Windows. So you will not get any help if you run into problems. You
are between a rock and a hard place attempting to run Windows
programs under Linux.
