Someone knowledgeable please point me to do the right thing:
I opened Jeff's post. I also opened the attached file. It was blank.
Nothing seemed to change until 9:30am. I opened my real time data and metastock will not update.
So I restarted the computer.
On reboot, a msg comes out:
The drive or network connection that the shortcut "Norton Anti Autoprotect.lnk"
refers to is unavailable.
Make sure that the disk is properly inserted or network resource is available. Try again
Someone please email me direct to let me know if my c drive is damaged or just my Norton Software is killed?
I am up and running but the computer gives out a sound as if something is continuously writing to a drive...
