highlight the first stock in the list and scroll down to the middle of
the list, and while holding down the SHIFT key, click a symbol. this
will highlight symbols from the first down to the one you just
clicked. repeat for the balance of the list. this is a standard
windows feature. this selection technique applies to most types of
lists or objects. you can hold the CTRL key to add one at a time.
