talking about trading the ES (emini S&P) on a very short term basis.
This is a very liquid market and leveraged market so he is probably only
holding out for say 5 or 10 point moves (.5% or 1%).  Thus, the stops he
is talking about make complete sense.

    I can't image ever staying in a
(real) position with such a tight stop or is this just
    theoretical?

Thanks for the response Joe,I was able to optimize
the stop using %, but in a system test(not optimizing the stop), I was
not able to set the stop to less than 1%.In fact if I set it to 0.51
to 0.99% it automatically reverts to 1.00%.  And if I set it to
<0.50% it automatically reverts to 0.00%!Anyone try
      this?Bob--- In <A
