Excuse my digressions.
When I think of plug-ins, I think of DLL's mainly. This is a formula
that is written in another programming lanquage such as C+ or Delphi.
These files are stored in a seperate folder but accessable by the
program. Usually, they are codes that are written in this manner to
speed up an otherwise resource intensive and slow routine. A good
example is a random number generator or a prev statement.
Add-ons use the current programming lanquage and are simply imported
into your program as indicators, experts, or system tests. They may
not be accessable in order to make changes or modifications due to
password protection but were initially written in the original
programmin lanquage.
