[Metastockusers] 4MACDeanA new folder by this name
has been created in the files area.  It contains four files:  a
snapshot GIF, an RTF explanation, an MWT template, and a self-extracting
EXE with ten indicators.Several folks have asked for this information,
which grew out of an original concept by Robert Cummings (aka Sir Bob) in
the TC2000 crowd.  The 4MACDean grew from that kernel of
thought.  Many thanks, Bob, for making your ideas public! In
that same spirit, this enhanced package is provided for your use.
Concepts are described in the RTF file for a wide variety of system
signal possibilities.  No formal buy/sell indicators, system tests,
experts or explorations are included - this is a starting point from
which those tools can be developed. The periods used for the MACD's
and BB envelopes were tuned extensively, for general use with short-term
interday daily-bar trading.  There is no reason why they could not be
used with intraday or multiday bars.Jumpstart Color Key &
Concepts:  Red & Green are faster than Magenta &
  Yellow.  Red & Magenta are fast & slow Bearish indicators;
Green and Yellow are fast & slow Bullish indicators.  BB-type
envelopes provide statistically-based crossover signal lines for the MACD
indicators.  Green and Red Dots on the Histo bars highlight
meaningful changes in their height.Happy Hunting!Jim
