Sorry about the misunderstanding.
My suggestion would be to use Excel (or similar) to test multiple
tickers. Cut and paste the CSCO and SPX price series next to one another
in your spreadsheet where you could perform exactly the calculations that
you require. Furthermore, you could define your exact entry/exit price
rather than using the less useful choices available in Metastock.
The Excel equivalent of HHV is =MAX(B1:B20) which will give you the
highest high over the last 20 days given that your CSCO highs are in
column B. The equivalent of LLV is =MIN. You should be able to find Excel
formulas for most of the TA indicators on the web if you decide to try
anything more fancy.

but the problem is that i would put in i.e. csco in a new window on a spx
chart, if i use c>o it will take the spx data, thus i have to find out
how to use it with p, any ideas on that?
