  To simplify your life, take a look at dCenter.  
  It will download and place the data in the any folder automatically.  In 
  addition, in contrast to other downloaders that I am familiar with, it works 
  on both of Yahoo servers - historical and current.  This is important 
  since the current is much, much faster (e.g, 200 daily symbols in a few 
  seconds).

    Hi group,I've installed Tarnsoft's free downloader to 
    get daily end-of-day stock prices off Yahoo. After downloading,I use 
    the create new security function in Metastock torecognize the file--but 
    it doesn't work. Metastockcreates a new file name but doesn't read the 
    data. I'm sure I'm missing some steps here and wouldappreciate 
    some
