Peter:
The approach I use with Quote Monster is to use a command with the Start,
Run functions as G:\QM\QM_Idx\GET 020517 020604 which as you may see is that
the two dates I am using allow historical data download between those two
dates. The most history I have ever requested has been 10 or 11 years of
daily data. Note the Idx refers to the folder in which I will find the
downloaded data and the vertical file of the requested symbol list (made up
by the person reqesting the data). I have my data symbols broken up in four
parts thus I have four folders which require using the Run command four
times each trading if you are a daily market observer.

One other item I failed to mention in my last email was maintaining this
list for symbol and name changes.
