Hi,

Thank you for the answer. I'll test this approach.
"Advances and Declines" ... I mean that I'd like to have an indicator as
follows

(Number of tickers where closing > yesterday's closing) - (Number of tickers
where closing < yesterday's closing) + yesterday's indicator value.

and this for the sub-set of securities selected.

Add a symbol file in the downloader directory with a filename of ".sym".

Create the file with an ASCII editor with one entry per line as shown below:
Microsoft, MSFT
Applied Materials,AMAT
etc.

make sure symbol is in caps.

Add this symbol directory to your data directory as a separate group and you
have the group of stock you want.

I'm not sure what you want done with the A/D......
