The results are almost the same as those for a 
price oscillator 8,30 ema.
Nothing new or significant with this more 
complicated formula.
 
Try using both the sets of parameters. 

Just because a published author uses certain 
parameters doesn't mean that we must blindly use them too.

      Has anyone system tested to see if the 25/13 
      periods used in the formula for theTrue Strength Index in the Active 
      Trader Magazine article this month is better or worse than some 
      alternatives (like 17/9)? Especially on a 15 minute chart...
