THE LONG PORTFOLIO
During the fall of 2000 I came up with what I call the “BUILDING CASTLES” portfolio. It uses a Vector Vest Strategy which was fundamentally defined by Chuck Castle at the September 2000 San Diego Vector Vest Users Group Meeting. I call my version of the Strategy “Undervalued Opportunities”. The strategy utilizes the following criteria: GPE>=1, REC=’B’ and Price>=10 (I added Price>=10 so that it would select stocks that should be 50% marginable).
