I wasn't the original requestor - but thanks for the tip. Does un-checking
Recalculate Expert Live, but leaving the option to Each Tick wait for the
bar to complete before signaling the alert?

Open the Tools menu
Select the Real-time tab
Uncheck Recalculate Expert Live
This gives only one alert per bar, rather than possibly on each tick.
