I just open a new sheet in Microsoft Word and do all my editing there. You
don't even have to worry about Word being in text format. Things can be
highlighted, colored, and put in different fonts to help keep all those
brackets and formula names straight. When it comes time to try a new version
of what I'm working on, I simply copy and paste into MetaStock. Word is also
great for saving various versions of programs without filling up MetaStock.
I am amazed at how primitive MetaStock is at some things. At first, it was a
big limitation to work in those little boxes but now with the large
landscape format I use in Word, it's the only way to go. I'm just waiting
for a few more charting refinements in another program...
