download the histories of the indices and European values. It is about

as I took their trial some time ago, and don't use the software myself,
unfortunately I cannot help you with that question. Why not go to their web
site and ask their email support? No doubt you will get a knowledgeable

I tested this solution like all the options of Downloader but this résoud
not the problem. For each value I am obliged of cliquer on Close so that
conversion is carried out. I believe that the problem comes that Downloader
does not manage to convert the whole of the file because this file is with
the csv format. It would probably be necessary to transform this file in
another format but my data-processing knowledge did not enable me to
succeed.

Just click on close after you are asked to enter a ticker symbol. The first
time don't forget to mark: create new files in the downloader's options !

tansoft is free as.
It is much easier to use as quote monster which requires Perl and especially
it is faster.

I am using Quote Monster and it comes out a file called Quote.prn which can
include one or more histories (s). The convert part of Downloader appears to
work without that symbol you are using namely "^".
Quote Monster program is free, is the one from tarnsoft free also?

I downloaded the program at www.tarnsoft.com.
It is a good program to download the histories of quotes at Yahoo, but I
have difficulties of conversion with downloader.
To take an example with 3 values (^FCHI,^DJI, ^DJA, )
Convert Securities
Source
File type : ASCII Text
Folder : C:\BITM2\csvsec
File name : "^FCHI.csv" "^DJI.csv" "^DJA.csv"
Destination
File Type : Metastock

then OK

I close this window conversion is carried out for the pemière value, then
same the message appears for the second value

window so that conversion is carried out, and of the same for the third
value.
I would like to know which is the solution so that conversion is carried out
for all the values in only one commmande.
