<FONT face=Fixedsys
color=#000080>
I had
taken their free 1 mo. trial some time ago, and liked what I saw. There is a
wealth of back-testing that can be done with this program. I also experimented
with their interface to my data vendor, Quotes-Plus (<A
href="http://www.qp2.com">www.qp2.com), which turned out to be
excellent.
<FONT face=Fixedsys
color=#000080>
I didn't
buy the software, though, because, as you may be aware from some of my previous
posts, I do my own programming and testing in Mathematica. But from what I have
seen I would say these tarnsoft guys have brought out one of the most versatile
EOD testing and charting programs I have encountered so far. The price is right,
too, and you are not tied to one data vendor only.

As I said,
I have no connections with them, not even as a customer. :-)
<FONT face=Fixedsys

Hope this
helps. Best wishes,

Mike:
Looks like a nice program. Do you use
it? If so, it would or great interest to learn how it compares
to Metastock? Also, is their free data update of good quality, and
do they provide historical data (how far back)?

For an

<FONT face=Arial color=#0000ff
size=2>I think exactly the same way as you but I got a VERY strong feeling
that the things you are hoping is just a dream, Because don't forget
that Equis is now from Reuters and what does Reuters sell ? Correct data
! So it is very logical they will and are already taking that
pad. Last upgrade what were the new features apart the useless
systems which are password protected, yes Data on
demand.

And a very bummer is that Supercharts seem to be of the market, is that
correct ? Other ways we don't have no where to go. What would be a
good alternative ?

make a good point. However, if you have emailed them suggestions in the
past and still have them filed somewhere, it wouldn’t take much effort
to send them off again. That’s what I’m going to do. And then see where
the pieces fall.

me personally, the next major release (whenever that may be) is going to
be the make or break. If they really improve the program, I’ll stay
forever and continue upgrading, buying their addins and data…If they put
all their effort into making it a “Tradestation.com” offering (making it
an online subscription using only their proprietary data and brokerage
house of their choice, etc)
to try to suck more $$ out of us, I’m history. I’ll move to AmiBroker or
something else. I’ve always thought Metastock was the best charting
package, but not the best analysis package. Again, with a few
improvements, done with the user (and power user) in mind, they would be
the best.
