It appears that the market has different conditions or characteristics at
different times. Three I would use would be Strong Trending, Trading, Flat
(low volatility).
For some time I have tried using all of the MetaStock Indicators that are
supposed to indicate when we are in a trending vs trading range including
ADX and have not found them very useful.
Does anyone have any other indicators or ideas on this?
