I normally have success with 60% of my positions, but the last two months
it's been 50/50. But I let my profits run so I'm still ahead even at 50/50.
It seems there is more bang for the buck on the short side, so my lower win
percentage is being offset by higher average profitability. Of course the
volatility is down the last few months so I'm not doing as well as I used
to. I also take long positions as well, so that's hurting my win/loss
average. Here are my favorites the last few months:
ALGX
AEIS
DIGL
MUSE
LWIN
OPWV
MERQ
CREE
FNSR
NITE
ACTM
MSCC
AGIL
MONE

Dave,
The short side is definetly where the money has been the last couple of
months. It hasn't been easy money though. I have gotten stopped out of a
lot of positions.
What constitutes a "well behaved stock" in your book. Alternately, what are
some examples of well behaved yet volitile stocks.
Thank you,
Dan
