Ron,
Just my two cents, I've been a TS2ki & ProSuite user for a while and TS4
before that.
I can't compare it with Metastock real time but do use Metastock EOD and
other software both real time and EOD.
>From reading the list, it seems that the way to get stability out of TS2Ki
is not to compromise on hardware, and avoid Win 95/98/ME (as you are no
doubt aware, 98 is reputed to have profound memory managment problems). I
find NT works very well and others find 2000 PRO highly reliable.
TS2Ki & ProSuite are very stable, albeit I shut down once at the weekend to
do full system backups. If I do have to restart, I can't think of an example
when it was TradeStation related. This doesn't mean it has't happened, it
just means that I can't remember it.
Frankly, they are more stable than my version of Metastock 7.01, and have
less data related problems than sayAIQ (RT and EOD), and do not lose all of
the lines on the chart like another well known supplier!

Sorry to hear you have had a bad experience.

Good luck with yr. trading.
