Once a week I do search for inactive symbols. My data base has around 1750
tickers in it. It takes less than 2 minutes to run this exploration,
including updating the parameters.
My computer is a Gateway 700 mhz and 128 meg ram.
The problem may be that your exploration is intrinsically slow, perhaps you
could redesign it so that it would run faster, or V6.2 is indeed more than a
tad slower than V 7.2.
The more symbols your exploration is looking for in each pass, the slower it
will run.
