If you use another program, you will need to
learn the language. The metastock formula language is a bit
limited.
My suggestion is Excel and visual
basic. You can export Metastock files into a spreadsheet readable format using
the downloader. The current versions of Excel are very powerful and relatively
easy to use. You can use VB or VBA with Excel.
