This should be of interest to all readers if they are not aware of the
procedure. Open the Downloader and click on TOOLS, then on CONVERT in the
drop down menu. The resulting window will be CONVERT SECURITIES, fill in the
required windows identifying the files to be converted and where you wish
the converted file to be put. There is a HELP button should you have a
question on filling in any of these windows. Note this allows one to convert
Metastock data files to Excel and the conversion of Excel file back to
Metastock. One word of caution the Excel files should be formatted similarly
to those you get converting Metastock files to Excel or they may be
converted. So what I do is to print this form for reference.
