Metastock Virtual was fist an artefact to allow Metastock reading QP
database directly. The main drawbacks were the Metastock Virtual data files
access is slooow, the solution does not run on NT/2000, and it was not
really stable, nor reliable.
The advantages were implicit by "direct" QP format reading : saving disk
space, and no need of Metastock Update (a lot more time consuming than QP
Update).
