With all respect for the non-MetaStock technical expertise on this list I
would like to point out that you will probably find much more and better
expertise on Off-Topic technical topics on the specialized forums and web
sites that deal exclusively with computer hardware issues and the like.
On these specialized forums and/or usenets you can post questions to
hundreds of technicians and engineers who make it their life to know about
the technical topics you are interested in.
If you don't make use of these resources you are not using the Internet to
potential. Also remember that many computer hardware manufacturers have
email support for their customers.
Having done your research elsewhere you could summarize your findings on
this list - I am sure that would be appreciated by all of us.
I use a simple search program called Copernic 2000 Pro [

the free limited version. Perhaps you should look into this program ...
As an example for those using multiple video monitors, a "Quick Search"
produced the list below, a "Detailed Search" would have found much more.
