For Win2K we have RAMDiskNT from http://www.jlajoie.com/ramdskNT/.

However the RAM disk folder is not dynamic AS IN VRAMDir.

In Win2K the RAM disk is a permanent size, and selectable by the user.
You can set the option(s) to save to disk when shutting down.

The main advantage of RAM disks, is speed of inforamtion access, less
wear an tear on the HD, and battery power savings on a laptop.

The concept is to save to RAM only data that needs to be viewed once.
Great for PGP and other security issues.

I have always used RAN disk since the days of the TallTree Systems
J-RAM Cards. Use to load into RAM before the days of HD, work in RAM
(TallTree allowed warm boots without loosing the RAM data!!!).
