Neo,
I upgraded to SE and I found that it is very sensitive to anything which
is running in the background. There should be no screensavers, antivirals,
no nothing. Make sure that they won't be loaded again on a reboot since
windows will reboot several times to test various drivers and hardware. All
that is really necessary to be running for most machines prior to starting
the upgrade is Explorer and Systray. Pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del should show most
of what is running in the background.
P.S.: I haven't found any improvement in the upgrade.
