TAS was definitely the best scanner of the Dos era.
I don't know any Win32 product that comes anywhere close to the happiness of
this Dos/TAS marriage.
FlexSoft died of not being a real company. His author didn't make it to port
the software to Windows 3.x.
And he didn't want to put the sources in public domain either.
