Open up metastock,
click on help (its on the tool bar at the top of the screen) or click the F1
key on your keyboard,
click on the index tab,
type in the window "toolbar": this will lead you to the information.
This information is also in the manual. Run the tutorial that comes with
Metastock it will explain some of the "how do I's".
You should experiment with the program: open it up see what happens when you
click on different buttons.
You should also look at the printed manual and just turn the pages over one
at a time; look at the index and table of contents.
While Metastock is fairly user friendly, it does assume some knowledge of
Windows. If you are just starting with computers, get a simple well
illustrated book on your Windows operating system and work your way through
it. They have titles like Windows Illustrated and Visual Windows. The large
bookstores have them. If you live in Texas, try the Bookstop(discounted
prices) and Half-Price Books (2nd hand older editions here)
Everyone has to go through this learning phase. Its a bit of a chore, but is
necessary with any new program.
