Folks:
I wish I had your programming skills -- most of what I've seen
here is bewildering at my level.
A suggestion is in order, however, for the benefit of all who
use the digest. Please:
(1) Compose messages for the group in something simple like "Notepad",
so all these formatting characters don't get plastered all over the list.
(2) Set e-mail programs to "Plain Text", since HTML is capable of so
much damage by hidden code.
Most newsgroups I'm familiar with (not all that many) require
these formatting choices, for the benefit of all participants. It cuts
down on the long sequences looking like the short portion below, copied
from the digest.
(copied:)

Footnotes:
(1) My mail is sent formatted as Plain Text, to avoid
passing on viruses and worms which spread through
e-mail by html.
(2) When pricing software, consider the cost of tech
support too; do you get to talk with a live human
or will you be required to read "FAQ"s for hours?
How much must you pay for the live human?
(3) Here's a better way to unite! Pass it on and
help it grow:
