Paul,

I also have used both, and, like you, I wish MS had multiple workspaces.
But it doesn't. The best thing I've seen in MS is to use
"Favorites". As an example, you have a chart up in MS, and you
decide that you want to see it regularly.
(1) So right mouse click on the chart, and choose "Add to
favorites".
(2) You have have a series of sub-folders in your "Favorites"
folder (I have "Stocks I own", "Stocks I'm watching",
and "Optionable Stocks"). I choose which of my
"Favorites" sub-folders I want to save it in, and save
it.
(3) Later, when you want to look at the charts in your Favorites folders,
use the menu "File | Open" and then select
"Favorites" (and go to whatever sub-folder you want, if you've
set up sub-folders). Select the first chart in this sub-folder.
(4) Only one chart will appear on the screen, but you can use the left
and right arrows at the bottom right-hand side of the MS screen to move
from one chart to the next within that sub-folder.

Hope this helps.

Bob.

I am
using both TradeStation and MetaStock. One thing that I am missing in
MetaStock is concept of Workspace. I can have different charts placed in
the workspace and then jsut quickly opened them all and go through them
during the day. Is there anything like that in MetaStock?

I know there are templates..
but MetaStock is taking to much time to pull out the charts when getting
live-data from e-signal, so I would like to have those workspaces opened
during the day? Am I missing something simple?

Thanks
Paul
