Lots of specialized TA function workbooks are available privately.
In VBA for 97 and 2000 you can use the open and close functions etc. For
compatibility you might want to use Auto_open and Auto_close to
automatically run macros / subs to link Automate and Excel / Access. The
help files will give you more instructions. Developing seamless applications
should be fun for you. I have also seen a Power Point front end used with
Excel etc. as the back end. Very effective.
The "window watcher" trigger is very handy in Automate. It will trigger an
event when a window or dialog box appears.
