I purchased the book and have applied the theory to several charts. The key
to the whole system is finding the correct value upon which to base all
future projections. Of course Welles does not tell you how to do this. His
comment in the book is you have to "play around" with each market until you
stumble across the correct value. I have "played around" with a couple of
markets and have yet to come up with the correct value that will stand up
over time. It appears that a value will work for a period of time then you
have to find a new value however you never know when this will occur. I
prefer my trading strategies to be slightly more reliable so have laid the
book aside for now. Perhaps I will take a nother look at it later on
however I found other strategies that are much easier to implement and
produce reliable results so I will stick with those for now.
