Daniel:
How do I set up the QP virtual files so that only V6.52 references them?

Thanks for your warning about V 7.02.

No problems. I simply don't use MS v7.02 EOD. Whether or not MS 7.02
corrupts
QP v2.1 MS output files after MS v7.02 EOD accesses them I haven't tested
that.
Will test tonight. I know MS v7.02 corrupts the QP v2.1 Virtual files so I
stopped using MS v7.02.

MS v6.52 works fine with QP v2.1 Virtual files. I use QP to output 144
regular
indexes, 192 IRL indexes, and 20 misc. indexes in the MS format. The rest
of
the stock market, about 8,000 tickers, I use the QP v2.1 Virtual program.
This
allows me to do full Exploration searches in MS v6.52. I am NOT going to
output
8,000 tickers in MS every d@#$ day.

Daniel.
