It's probably because i am dutch :-))
I think you mean how to set up the DDE links ??
That depens very much on wich data provider you use.
Normaly i would say that the program name (your data providors
program i mean) is often the SERVER, the ticker symbol is often
the TOPIC and the thing you want (last, volume, etc) is often the ITEM
In some cases the topic is replaced by a number.
If you are able to receive quotes in microsoft excel then you can find
it out through that also (my dataprovidor suplied me some excel sheets)
A DDE link in excel for my providor looks like this:
=NDKCC|DATA!'ASR LAST'
Server: NDKCC
Topic: DATA
Item: ASR LAST
As you can see with my providor the Topic is not the Symbol (ASR)
That is why you need to find out the settings for your providor.
