I did a QP v2.1 scan with these criteria:
(Close 101 days ago > 0 and (Vol 101 days ago > 0) and
(MovAvg last 100 days VOL > 100000) and (SharesOutstanding >= 18
million)
Plus, the close over the last 2 days had to be 9% higher than the
previous day. I also did another scan where the close had to be 9%
higher over the last 3 days. The latter only came up with 1 ticker.
This is the interesing part. I posted the output in Excel spreadsheet
form at my Yahoo! briefcase:

You must enter the "Stocks" folder. The file is "Daily-Winners.xls".
The ticker with an increase of 9% over 3 days is in green and in a
larger font than the rest. This is what I like about scanning
databases. As long as the scanning language is flexible enough, you
can find anything you're looking for. I hope QP continues to improve
their scanning language.
