I mentioned Advanced Get to Equis in my fax request. I told them how AG had
already implemented direct reading of QP data in their program. It would be
nice if MetaStock EOD had this capability. Unfortunately, Equis is, indeed,
owned by Reuters. Equis is not only a charting program company, but also
indirectly sells stock data.
Not only do I have 6.52 EOD, but I also have 7.02 EOD installed but I can't
use it. Not sure why I keep it. It's not worth returning since I paid $15
S&H and the whole thing only cost me $75. I did tell them I would not be
purchasing any more upgrades until they implemented this feature. I would
be even willing to pay another $60 for it.
If you QP users are weary of dealing with all the complications concerning
reading data in MS, then fax them. If you are tired of maintaining a large
(second) MS database and waiting for QP to output thousands of stocks, then
fax them.
