Re: Real Time Dataproviders for MS RT

Bud,
Anyone can have that "trade too often - buy high - sell on dips" problem.
I understand completely, but will not confess.  :^)
Here are some of my current trading ideas.  They are not mine,
but taken from both reading, and my generous, hard working trading friends.
1
I look for the %D (slow stochastic) to dip to one side of 50%, and
then start a new trend.  On the long side, look for the %D to drop
below 50%, and start to bend, or hook, up.
2
Another thing:  I try not to enter a trade well into an established
trend.  There are thousands of fish.  I don't need one that will
bite me.
3
I confirm the new trend with the NASDAQ $COMPX.  I miss some good
"lone wolf" moves, but am safer for the effort.
4
The current MACD bar should be moving in the direction of the trade.
5
Momentum and Acc-Distrib should also be pointing in the right direction.
Lastly, I check both the MACD and the Momentum for confirmation-nonconfirmation
patterns, and there you have it.
These ideas help me while working with day period charts, but they also
have short term chart application.  Here is the good part,  Although
IQcharts will not chart Acc-Dist,  both MS and IQCharts will work
fine with the balance of these system signals.
They will help to slow your trading down, and give you decent entries.
You can also reverse the signals to determine exit points.  I hope
that these ideas help you, and others on the list.  There is always
more to learn.
The NASDAQ futures are looking up tonight.   Good luck.

Hi.
I used  IQ-Chart from Silicon Investor for
nearly 2 months.  Cost $35 per month.
But not compatible that I know of to MS, nor
can you save the EOD data to MS.
I also found I was trading to frequently, and
making poor trades.
More?
