Neo,
I went back and checked my Outlook 2000 and I am not attaching anything to
my emails and am doing nothing to request an acknowledgement.
I have sent myself an email as well and, since I have acknowledgements
turned off, I always get a prompt for permission to send a response if
requested. I get no such prompt.
Could you send me privately the email in question so that I can see what you
are talking about?
Thanks,
Guy
Politicians and diapers have one thing in common. They should both be
changed regularly and for the same reason.

In your e-mail program (outlook) you can probably go to
Tools
options
tab - "acnolegment" (or something. I run a non US OS)
There you can choose to NEVER send acnollegment that you
have received his e-mail.
That must stop the questions i think.
Greetings
