TAS is the Technical Analysis Scanner. It is, I think, still only a DOS
program, but it is supposed to be Y2K compatible. It has a built in
programming language that sort of resembles a subset of Pascal. It reads
(or used to) Metastock data files.  It is a very powerful add-on to
Metastock.  Equis used to sell it, then there was a falling out and TAS is a
very dirty word around Equis. If Equis updated TAS it would overcome most of
the shortcomings in Metastock.  It used to sell for $249.
