size=2>Win2000 is by far the more stable OS altho some Metastock personal
features do not work as well.  In particular, experts take for ever
(10secs) to appear whereas in Windows ME they are up in a second.
Explorations used to as bad but this is corrected in version
7.02.

  2000
If money is no object and if your BIOS is not
older than 1-1.5  years I would definitely recommend win 2000
.128 RAM min. is also advisable.
Have been using since over three months. No crashes ,no blue
  screen of death,
  until now.
This is a new OS with a new kernel whereas ME is just Win 98
  third edition!
If you don't wish to buy win 2000 then
wait until Whistler is out next year which will be
the next consumer windows with the kernel of win
  2000.
Drawback of win 2000:No DOS games,I read some
  incompatibility issues with CD
writers and scanners which might have been solved
  now.
To check hardware compatibility download the checker from
  microsoft.com.
