Since the objectives of equity players vary to such a degree...it's tough to
answer.  In futures, I use the same momentum oscillators to take me out, and
reverse a position, as I do to initiate the trade.  Trailing stops,
regression and error channels, and drawing accelerating trendlines are all
simple, but prudent ways to approach the markets.
